Biography
Name: Mauricio FELDMAN
Born: 1932 in Buenos Aires, Argentina
Art Education:
1944 – 1948 – Studied at the prestigious Academy of Arts "MEEBA"
1958 – 1964 : Studied Architecture at the University of Buenos Aires
Continued with oil painting of landscapes. This, was in parallel with his occupation in the textile manufacturing sector which also included the design of artistic patterns for hand printing.
1993 – 2017 : Residence in Israel
Exhibitions
Since 1997 , started his "Ink" series
1997: exhibited his series "Old and New" in Rishon Lezion, Israel
1999: exhibited his series "Sunsets" at the Latin American painters' collective exhibition, in Kfar Saba.
2000: January, individual exhibition in Barcelona, Spain – "Ink" and "Landscapes".
2002: May, exhibited at the collective exhibition at "Binyaney Hauma" - the subject was: "Three thousand years of Jerusalem"
2004: February, Collective exhibition at "Beit Asia" in Tel Aviv – illustrations for Latin American poetry.
2006: September, participated at the ARTERIA collective exhibition.
2009: June, participated at the ARTERIA collective exhibition in Rehovot focusing on "The four basic elements of the Globe".
During the last couple of years became an active member of the ARTERIA group of Israeli artists of Latin American origin.
